Open a product's recorded price history
Start in Offers after at least one source has imported successfully. If no offers have arrived, check Sources and Import activity first. Changing a filter cannot create observations that have not been imported.
Find the product
Use Search offers to find a product, SKU or EAN. Set Offer currency to the currency you want to review. Filter by supplier and Filter by category help narrow the current offer list.
Open the detail panel
Choose the product name or its compare link. The panel has Compare offers and Price history tabs. Use Compare offers to check the supplier SKU, minimum quantity, availability and Offer last read before interpreting a change.
Choose the history series
Open Price history and use History supplier to select the supplier-and-SKU offer you mean. Read the chart together with the Date, Unit price and Source table beneath it.
Treat each point as an observation
A history series belongs to a particular supplier offer and currency. Another supplier's price is a different series, even when both offers share the same product identity. Keep the supplier SKU and currency in view when explaining a change to a colleague.
For illustration only, an offer recorded at EUR 12.50 and later at EUR 11.75 shows a lower unit price at the later observation. It does not prove the exact moment the supplier changed the price or that the lower price remained available between checks. Repeated successful reads can also record the same price again.
The current history view loads the latest 1,000 observations across a product before selecting its supplier series. It is not an unlimited archive browser. A short visible series does not, by itself, prove that no older observations exist.
Understand what Price drops selects
The Price drops view checks the current eligible lowest-price offer against that offer's previous recorded price. It is a way to find current decreases worth reviewing, not a count of every historical movement or a promise that you have found the lowest market price.
Current lowest-price calculations use one currency, positive reported availability, a healthy source and offers verified under the current source settings. Delayed, paused or pending sources do not determine that lowest price. Their retained observations can still provide historical context.
Different currencies are not converted. Prices exclude VAT and delivery in the comparison; Feednaro does not calculate landed cost, tax treatment or the total cost of satisfying a minimum order. Check those terms with the supplier before making a purchasing decision.
Check freshness before acting on a price
Read Offer last read for the specific offer, not just the source's latest successful check. A changes-only feed can update some offers while leaving others untouched. A source being healthy does not mean every retained offer was read again in its latest file.
If a price looks old, open its source's Details and inspect Import activity. An owner or admin can request Import now for an active source. Failed imports preserve previous good values and timestamps; they do not turn an earlier observation into a new one. Supplier availability remains separate from your warehouse stock.
Keep settings changes and exports in context
Changing a mapping or currency can change what a number means. Feednaro retains earlier history, but a new settings version needs successful verification before its offers enter current comparisons. The previous-price baseline resets across settings versions so a remapped field is not treated as an ordinary price change.
Use Export view in Offers when you need a CSV of the current filtered products and their selected current offers. That action is not a full price-history export. The history chart and table explain recorded observations; they do not forecast future prices or send purchasing instructions to a supplier.
