Supplier feed imports

Bring supplier feeds into a view you can trust.

Connect CSV, XML, JSON and XLSX supplier feeds. Give each source its own field mapping and refresh schedule, then validate the actual data before offers enter your workspace.

Connect the source your supplier already shares

Add an HTTP or HTTPS feed URL, an FTP or SFTP source, or a supported supplier API. Feednaro reads CSV, XML, JSON and XLSX data. Each source keeps its own access settings and explicit currency. Compatibility depends on the supplier's connection and file structure, so inspect a real file before relying on a scheduled refresh.

A new workspace starts with your own sources and offers. The public website's comparison is an illustrative preview; connecting a supplier starts a separate operational record in your signed-in workspace.

Review the mapping against actual supplier values

Source inspection shows columns and sample values, suggests supported fields and leaves uncertain choices for review. Choose the relevant sheet or record location, map the supplier SKU and available product identifiers, and confirm price, availability and minimum-order fields. Review the number notation as well: a decimal comma and a thousands separator can change the meaning of a price.

Illustrative field mapping; review your supplier's own column names and meanings.

Choose how invalid rows should be handled

Validate the reviewed settings before saving. Each source has an invalid-row policy: stop the whole import or accept valid rows with a warning. Duplicate supplier SKUs are rejected rather than resolved by guessing. A malformed file or an import with no valid rows does not replace the previous good offers.

When a snapshot is only partly accepted, earlier values for rejected or absent offers retain their earlier timestamps. The warning matters: a completed attempt can contain useful new rows without making every earlier offer current.

Follow scheduled refreshes with the result in view

Set the check frequency and review import activity to see what happened. Receipts distinguish successful reads from failed attempts, and the archived original file remains available for investigation. Price observations come from imported offers, giving later comparisons a recorded source and time.

If the supplier changes a mapped column, Feednaro stops updating offers until the change is reviewed. Editing connection, currency or mapping settings also requires verification before the affected offers return to current lowest-price comparisons. Existing history stays available while you repair the source.
